This photo shows part of a signal collection from a collector in Maryland. You can see how a collector can find all the subtle differences to make his/her collection unique. Most of the signals pictured here are 12" lens type. (Photo by Tony Lenzi)

 

This barn is loaded with just about every kind of sign that you can imagine. Some of these are pretty old. I'll bet many road sign collectors wished that they had a surface such as this to display their signs!

 

Some antique stores even sell signs. As you can see from the photo, there are many varieties sold here.
